Safa Karim is an Articling Student at Just-Fides Advocacy. She completed her Juris Doctor (J.D.) cum laude at the University of Ottawa and holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) from Western University.
Safa brings an interdisciplinary approach to the law to gain a comprehensive understanding of how the law intersects with science and technology. Safa developed an interest in business and technology law during her legal studies, which was heightened through her internship at the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). In addition, her aptitude for problem solving and working with numbers led her to gain various hands-on experiences in tax law.
During law school, Safa participated in the Nelligan Moot, the Dentons Negotiation Competition, and Pro Bono Students Canada – all of which sharpened her advocacy skills. Driven by a passion for learning and immersing herself in challenges, Safa is enthusiastic to become a strong advocate during her articles.
In her spare time, Safa enjoys visiting new cafés, as well as making jewelry and pottery.
