Robert Choi focuses on real property, corporate/commercial, insolvency, estates, and class action litigation. He is a fundamental and analytical problem-solver, both pragmatic and resolute.
Robert graduated with First-Class Distinction in Economics from Queen’s University, after which he went on to earn his J.D. at Windsor Law School where he graduated at the top 10% of the class. Robert subsequently completed his LL.M. at Osgoode Hall Law School, where he graduated with First-Class Distinction in Business Law.
Robert has taught courses in Advocacy, Administrative Law, and Contracts at Seneca College. He has also authored academic articles such as “Forfeiture of the Lease: Understanding the Remedy and the Tenant’s Right to Relief”, published in Tenant’s Rights and Remedies in a Commercial Lease (2nd Edition): A Practical Guide (Canada Law Book, 2014).
Prior to founding Just-Fides Advocacy in 2023, Robert was a partner at two full-service Toronto firms, the last at which he acted as the Head of the Litigation Group.
In his spare time, Robert practices martial arts and ardently cheers for his favourite team, Toronto Maple Leafs. He has also acted as a Director in various community organizations, and previously served as the President of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association.
